Book Fair, Market Hall and Advertising

Book Fair Exhibitors

Scholarly presses, Indigenous Studies/Academic programs, and non-profit Indigenous organizations may apply for booth spaces on a first-come, first-served basis until spaces are filled. 
The deadline to apply for a booth is March 31st, 2020.

Each book fair registration includes:

  • One complimentary conference registration
  • One 6 x 2.5 foot table
  • Two folding chairs
  • Booth number and listing in the official programme

Pricing: The cost for a booth at the book exhibition is USD $450.00 which includes one complimentary conference registration.  Additional conference registration is available at $125.00 USD.

Displaying Books etc. WITHOUT a Representative in attendance:

Presses may purchase a table as per normal (one table can serve multiple presses if organized by the presses themselves).

  • The Local Hosts will ensure the material/books are displayed appropriately
  • The table will be unattended (i.e., the Local Hosts will not provide a person to front the table nor will a purchasing service be provided).

Setup and Teardown:
Exhibitors may set up between 8 am-5 pm Thursday May 7th, 2020. The Book Fair hall will be open until 3 pm on Saturday May 9th; Exhibitions to be taken down by 5 p.m. on final day.

Market Hall Vendors

Vendors are invited to apply for a vendor site on a first-come, first-served basis until spaces are filled. 
The deadline to apply for a booth is March 31st, 2020.

Each market Hall site includes:

Pricing: The cost for a vendor site in the Market Hall is USD $225.

  • One 6 x 2.5 foot table draped
  • Two folding chairs
  • A limited number of booths with power are available upon request
  • Booth number and listing in the official programme

Location: The Market Hall is located on the first and second floors of the Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MY).

Setup and Teardown:
Vendors must set up daily from 7 am, May 7 and pack down any valuables by 5 pm each night.  Lockable rooms will be available to store vendor collateral overnight at the venue.  The Market Hall will be open until 3 pm on Saturday May 9th; Vendor sites must be fully taken down by 5 p.m. on final day.

Ad specifications for the NAISA conference program.
The deadline for program ad submissions is April 15.

Full-page Display Ad — $175.00
7-1/2″ wide x 10″ high
pdf, no less than 300 dpi
black and white

Half-page Display Ad — $125.00
7-1/2″ wide x 5″ high
pdf, no less than 300 dpi
black and white

Ads will be posted online and in print.

Please note:

  • All transparency and layers flattened.
  • Fonts should be embedded/subset and should be PostScript Type1, TrueType or OpenType
  • No less than 300dpi resolution
  • Black and white
  • All files should be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF)
  • All images and graphics with CMYK colours, not RGB or spot colours

Once payment has been received, a follow up email will be sent requesting your artwork.
